As an artist who minted my first NFT in 2021, the memories of that summer continue to linger. The dream that NFTs might positively impact the plight of the Hawaiian monk seal, one of the most endangered marine mammals on the planet continues. Not only was Benny the first Hawaiian monk seal to have his DNA sequenced, he was the first of my Monk Seal Monday collection, lazy minted on OpenSea, to be minted to the blockchain. Is there a better way to celebrate bringing summer back?
